Daily COVID-19 cases fell slightly from the previous day, but still grew by more than 400.

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA) said on Thursday that 451 new infections were detected by 12:00 a.m., down 16 from the previous day. 

Of the new cases, 429 were domestic transmissions while 22 were imported. 

The country's accumulated caseload now stands at 79-thousand-762.
