The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 32-point-87 points, or one-point-06 percent, on Wednesday to close at three-thousand-129-point-68.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining six-point-88 points, or zero-point-71 percent, to close at 970-point-69.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-114-point-nine won.
