The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 21-point-89 points, or zero-point-71 percent on Wednesday, to close at three-thousand-114-point-55.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 19-point-91 points, or two-point-08 percent, to close at 977-point-66.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-100-point-three won.
