The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 22-point-34 points, or zero-point-71 percent, on Wednesday to close at three-thousand-148-point-29.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining five-point-41 points, or zero-point-56 percent, to close at 979-point-13.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened four-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-95-point-one won.
