South Korea's main stock market has hit an all-time high for the sixth consecutive trading day. 

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 46-point-12 points, or one-point-57 percent, on Tuesday, to close at two-thousand-990-point-57.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining eight-point-14 points, or zero-point-83 percent, to close at 985-point-76. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened five-point-five won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-87-point-six won.
