The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) closed a tad higher on Friday to renew the previous record reached just two days ago. 

The main bourse inched up one-point-75 points, or zero-point-06 percent, to end the week at two-thousand-772-point-18.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining three-point-20 points, or zero-point-34 percent, to close at 947-point-24. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened six-point-four won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-99-point-seven won.
