The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose, however, gaining one-point-10 points, or zero-point-12 percent, to close at 929-point-54.
 
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-five won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-91-point-eight won.
