The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) wraps the workweek on a fresh high on Friday. It rose 23-point-60 points, or zero-point-86 percent, to end at two-thousand-770-point-06.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also gained, climbing six-point-74 points, or zero-point-73 percent, to close at 928-point-44. 

On the foreign exchange counter, the Korean currency weakened two-point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-90-point-three won.
