The Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) returned to the red on Thursday's trading day, shedding nine-point-01 points, or zero-point-33 percent, ending the session at two-thousand-746-point-46.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose however, gaining seven-point-89 points, or zero-point-86 percent, to close at 921-point-70. 

On the foreign exchange counter, the local currency weakened two-point-nine won against the greenback, ending the session at one-thousand-87-point-seven won.
