​The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 31-point-22 points, or one-point-30 percent, on Monday, closing at two-thousand-427-point-91.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining five-point-73 points, or point-64 percent, ending at 894-point-17. 

On the foreign exchange, the Korean currency strengthened three-point-four won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-183-point-five won.
