The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 26-point-10 points, or one-point-09 percent, on Wednesday to close at two-thousand-375-point-81.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing eight-point-82 points, or one-point-00 percent, to close at 869-point-47. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-seven won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-189-point-one won.
