​The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 27-point-63 points, or one-point-17 percent, on Monday, closing at two-thousand-326-point-17.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose, gaining six-point-94 points, or zero-point-82 percent, ending at 848-point-24. 

On the foreign exchange, the Korean currency weakened three-point-five won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-187-point-eight won.
