The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Wednesday rose six-point-17 points, or zero-point-27 percent, to close at two-thousand-263-point-16.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ was also up, gaining zero-point-74 points, or zero-point-09 percent, to close at 808-point-59. 

On the foreign exchange counter, the Korean won strengthened three-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-193-point-one won.
