On Tuesday, the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 39-point-13 points, or one-point-76 percent. It ended the day at two-thousand-256-point-99.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also bounced up, gaining six-point-62 points, or zero-point-83 percent, to close at 807-point-85. 

On the foreign exchange counter, the Korean won weakened zero-point-eight won against the greenback, wrapping the session at one-thousand-196-point-nine won.
