​The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 12-point-47 points, or zero-point-56 percent, on Thursday. It ended the day at two-thousand-216-point-19.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose, gaining six-point-70 points, or zero-point-84 percent, to close at 801-point-69. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-197-point-three won.
