The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell seven-point-57 points, or point-35 percent, on Thursday. It ended the day at two-thousand-133-point-48.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose one-point-93 points, or point-26 percent, to end at 737-point-33. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened five-point-nine won against the dollar, ending Thursday's session at one-thousand-208-point-zero won.
