The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining eleven-point-31 points, or one-point-60 percent, to close at 719-point-89.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened seven-point-two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-244-point-two won.
