The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 15-point-46 points, or point-80 percent, on Thursday. It ended the day at one-thousand-924-point-96.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing point-96 points, or point-14 percent, to close at 690-point-57. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened four-point-two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-228-point-zero won.
