The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 13-point-47 points, or point-70 percent, on Wednesday. It ended the day at one-thousand-947-point-56.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining point-25 points, or point-04 percent, to close at 645-point-18. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened seven won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-218-point-two won.
