The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) lost 25-point-72 points, or one-point-34 percent, on Friday, ending the week at one thousand-889-point-01.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also struggled, shedding ten-point-83 points, or one-point-68 percent, to close at 632-point-96. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened five-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-235-point-five won.
