The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained eight-point-16 points, or point-42 percent, on Tuesday. It ended the day at one-thousand-962-point-93.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining five-point-37 points, or point-87 percent, to close at 619-point-97. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened eleven won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-193-point-two won.
