KOSPI Closes Friday Down 1.35%

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) lost 28-point-99 points, or one-point-35 percent, on Friday due to fears over the spreading coronavirus. It ended the week at two-thousand-119-point-01.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 13-point-91 points, or two-point-12 percent, to close at 642-point-48.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened six-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-191-point-eight won.
