S. Korea Beats Hong Kong 3-0 in East Asian Cup Championships

South Korea's national soccer squad, led by coach Humberto Coelho, sunk rivals Hong Kong 3-1 on Thursday in the 2003 East Asian Cup Championship being held in Japan.

Kim Doo-hyun scored South Korea's first goal in the 23rd minute of the first half before Hong Kong equalized 11 minutes later. South Korea's Kim Do-hun sank his team's second goal five minutes into the second half, followed by teammate Ahn Jong-hwan's final goal three minutes later.

South Korea will play against China on Sunday and will face Japan next Wednesday.
