The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) lost two-point-10 points, or point-10 percent, on Monday. It ended the day at two-thousand-168-point-15. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose, gaining point-99 point, or point-15 percent, to close at 644-point-44.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-172-point-three won.
