Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon gave a mixed assessment of the Moon administration's minimum wage policy in testimony to lawmakers Thursday.

During a National Assembly audit, said he thinks the wage hikes have produced more positive outcomes than negative ones, but admitted he felt wages had been raised at steeper levels than they should have been.

The minister also said he feels the necessity to revise or supplement the government’s income-led growth policy.
