KOSPI Closes Friday Down 0.26%

South Korean stocks ended lower on Friday amid concerns over the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and China.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell six-point-03 points, or point-26 percent. It ended the day at two-thousand-281-point-58.    

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose three-point-68 points, or point-45 percent. It closed at 818-point-86.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened one-point-two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-122-point-eight won.
