First Vice Finance Minister Ko Hyoung-kwon says the government will unveil next week 30 tasks related to overhauling regulations. 

Ko made the remark on Friday during a meeting on strategies for innovation-led growth, saying the government will actively pursue regulatory reform to promote innovation-led growth. 

He explained that in consideration of the latest economic conditions, the government placed focus on job creation, bold investments and support for small businesses when devising the 30 tasks.

Ko said the government will expand investment in eight leading "fourth industrial revolution" industries to three-point-six trillion won next year.

Those sectors include smart cities, fintech, drones, electric vehicles and artificial intelligence.
