KOSPI Ends Friday Up 0.77%

South Korean stocks inched up on Friday following a tech-led rise on Wall Street. 

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOPSI) ended the day point-77 percent higher after gaining 17-point-48 points. It closed the day at two-thousand-287-point-68.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining seven-point-43 points or point-95 percent to close the day at 788-point-81.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-five won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-127-point-six won.
