Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to hit S. Korean Market on Aug. 24

Samsung Electronics plans to begin selling the Galaxy Note 9 in South Korea late next month.

According to industry insiders on Friday, Samsung’s new signature phablet product, which is expected to be unpacked in New York on August ninth, will be available for preorder sales from August 14th and sold domestically beginning on August 24th.

That's three weeks earlier than the Galaxy Note 8, which was released in the domestic market last year on September 15th, following its global debut on August 21st.

The latest phone is expected to feature a bigger four-thousand mAh battery, a larger six-point-four inch screen and enhanced smart voice assistant Bixby 2.0.
