Prosecutors have launched an investigation into Samsung Electronics over allegations that the electronics giant's repair service unit sabotaged workers' efforts to establish a labor union.
 
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office raided the head office of Samsung Electronics Tuesday morning.

As the parent company of Samsung Electronics Service, the tech giant is accused of being deeply involved in the unit's sabotaging of labor union activities.

After wrapping up analysis of seized materials, prosecutors plan to summon Samsung Electronics officials to grill them about their involvement in the anti-labor union operation.
