The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell below the two-thousand-300 mark for the first time in 13 months at one point during trading Friday morning amid continued U.S.-China trade tensions. 

As of 11:08 a.m., the KOSPI was down 17-point-42 points, or point-75 percent, to hit two-thousand-296-point-82. 

On Thursday, the main bourse closed at a yearly low of two-thousand-314-point-24.
