Strategy and Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon has reported to President Moon Jae-in his ministry’s plans on how to implement major presidential economic initiatives for the second half of the year. 

In his sixth monthly face-to-face meeting with Moon on Friday, Kim said the ministry will focus the second half of the year on producing outcomes from innovative growth on eight leading industries.
 
Regarding the deregulatory initiative, Kim said the ministry will come up with measures to alleviate regulations by late September. 

The minister said the ministry is also working on short- and long-term measures to ease aggravated income distribution through meticulous analysis.
