President Moon Jae-in reviewed the implementation of his administration's key economic policies related to job creation and income-led growth on Tuesday.

He held a closed meeting attended by his economy-related ministers, in part to discuss the gap between current macroeconomic indicators and the state of the economy as experienced by the Korean people.

According to the presidential office, while economic indicators such as the country's growth rate and household income levels increased in the first quarter of this year, both job growth and income among low-income households decreased in the same period.
