Journalists from five countries including South Korea who covered the demolition of the nuclear test site in North Korea are known to be staying in the North Korean city of Wonsan amid news of the canceled summit between Pyongyang and Washington.

South Korean reporters arrived at a press center set up at Kalma Hotel in Wonsan Friday morning. They will tour the Kalma Coastal Tourist Area on Friday before flying to Beijing to return home on Saturday.

The media crew said they heard of the summit's cancellation while on the train Thursday night. The reporters said they heard an angry rumble from a person who appeared to be a guide.

They then returned to their hotel in Wonsan and viewed articles about the canceled summit through their notebook computers that had Internet access.

They added that North Korean officials also gathered around them to observe the South Korean news reports and showed interest.
