Foreign Buyers Help Lift KOSPI

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose on Wednesday following increased buying from foreign investors. 

The KOSPI added six-point-34 points, or point-26 percent, to close the day at two-thousand-471-point-91.  

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ weakened, losing three-point-80 points, or point-44 percent, closing at 869-point-16. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened four-point-seven won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-80-point-seven won.
