The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) suffered losses on Thursday after foreign investors opted to dump shares amid growing uncertainties surrounding inter-Korean ties.

The KOSPI fell eleven-point-37 points, or point-46 percent, to close the day at two-thousand-448-point-45.

The momentum for peace on the Korean Peninsula slowed on Wednesday after Pyongyang canceled planned high-level talks with Seoul.

Meanwhile, the tech-heavy KOSDAQ strengthened, gaining five-point-33 points, or point-63 percent, closing at 855-point-62.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three-point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-81-point-two won.
