The police have sent the so-called "water rage" case involving the youngest daughter of embattled Korean Air Chairman Cho Yang-ho to the prosecution.
The Seoul Gangseo Police Station said on Friday that it recommended indictment for Cho Hyun-min, the former Korean Air senior marketing executive, on charge of obstruction of business.
The decision came after police concluded that Cho disrupted a business meeting with officials from an ad agency in March with abusive language and behavior.
Cho has been accused of shouting, throwing a glass cup and hurling a drink from a paper cup, after flying into a rage when an employee of the firm failed to answer her questions properly.
On Thursday, members of the airline's new pilot union and their families held a rally in front of Korean Air headquarters, to denounce the founding family's abusive behavior and call upon them to step down from company posts.
Meanwhile, the airline's former and current employees plan to stage a similar rally, their second event this Saturday, in front of Seoul Station.
