The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Thursday rose six-point-30 points, or point-25 percent, closing the day at two-thousand-492-point-38.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose slightly, gaining three-point-51 points, or point-40 percent. It closed the day at 890-point-43.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-65-point-four won.
