Reuters reported on Thursday that U.S. National Security Adviser Herbert McMaster will brief the UN Security Council regarding North Korea on Monday.

McMaster is expected to report to the Security Council about North Korea's message conveyed by South Korea's national security adviser Chung Eui-yong and spy chief Suh Hoon.

The two envoys are visiting Washington to meet with President Donald Trump and senior U.S. officials to brief on the outcome of their recent meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang.
