According to a recent industry survey, small business owners in South Korea typically work around eleven hours per day and more than six days a week on average.

The Korea Federation of SMEs polled 700 small business owners across the country about their satisfaction with work-life balance. Results revealed on Monday showed that on average, they clocked in 294-point-four hours per month, or ten-point-nine hours every day, taking only three days off a month.

Restaurant owners and retailers reported the longest daily working hours at eleven-point-four hours and eleven-point-one hours, respectively.
