Two Koreas to Discuss N. Korea's Participation in PyeongChang Paralympics

South and North Korea will hold a working-level meeting next week to discuss North Korea’s participation in the PyeongChang Paralympic Games.

The Unification Ministry said Friday that the North sent a fax during the day informing of its agreement with the South’s proposal that they hold talks at the truce village of Panmunjeom on Tuesday. The ministry said it made the proposal on Tuesday.

According to the ministry, Lee Joo-tae, the ministry's director-general in charge of inter-Korean exchanges and cooperation, will lead a three-member South Korean delegation for the working-level talks.

Last month, the two Koreas agreed that the North will send a delegation of about 150 athletes, officials and cheerleaders to the South for the Paralympic Games.
