N. Korea: Not 'Thirsty' for Talks with US

North Korea said Saturday that it is "not thirsty" for talks with the U.S., saying it will be Washington that feels more anxious as time goes by.

In an op-ed, the North's ruling party's newspaper the Rodong Sinmun criticized U.S. Vice President Mike Pence who led a delegation to the PyeongChang Olympics opening ceremony.

The article said that keen media attention was drawn to whether North Korea and the U.S. would hold any contact or talks during the Olympics.

But the paper said this was because "Trump and his cronies were making a fuss about it" while North Korea was not even considering holding talks.

The North said it is prepared with various measures to address any action by the U.S. whether it's sanctions and pressure, military options or scheming plots.
