North Korean media reported on Monday that its high-level delegation returned from a three-day trip to South Korea.
The North's official Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) and the Rodong Sinmun said that the delegation led by the North's ceremonial head of state Kim Yong-nam departed on the Chammae-2 jet from Incheon International Airport at around 10:25 p.m. and arrived at an airport in Pyongyang at 11:10 p.m. Sunday.
The North Korean media said that the delegation's trip to South Korea, which drew a lot of attention from home and abroad, holds significance as it contributed to improving inter-Korean relations and creating a peaceful atmosphere on the Korean Peninsula.
The Rodong Sinmun also reported that the delegation, which included North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's sister Kim Yo-jong, attended a concert by a North Korean art troupe in Seoul along with South Korean President Moon Jae-in earlier on Sunday.
