Moon Likely to Meet N. Korean Delegation Head Kim Yong-nam Friday

President Moon Jae-in is expected to meet with North Korea’s parliamentary chief Kim Yong-nam, who is leading the nation's high-level delegation to the Olympics, at a reception for top foreign dignitaries on Friday.

The reception will also see the attendance of U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Chinese Communist Party Politburo Standing Committee member Han Zheng.

The president will then head to the opening ceremony where he will welcome athletes from 92 countries.

On Friday, Moon will also hold back-to-back summits with Abe and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in the Olympic city of Pyeongchang -- after a luncheon with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Gangneung, the sub-host city of the Olympics.
