North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his wife Ri Sol-ju have reportedly conducted a trial run of a new trolleybus in Pyongyang.

​The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) and the Rodong Sinmun reported on Sunday that Kim and Ri traveled around the city at midnight aboard a trolleybus.
​
​The report said that Kim was accompanied by Vice Chairman O Su-yong and Vice Department Director Jo Yong-won of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
​
​Kim reportedly expressed his satisfaction with the new kind of trolleybus, saying that he feels easy and proud as it was made by North Korean workers.
​
​The North Korean media reported on Thursday that Kim visited and inspected the remodeled Pyongyang Trolley Bus Factory.
