South Korea and the United States on Thursday wrapped up the second round of negotiations on revising their bilateral free trade agreement(FTA). 

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said that on the second day of the two-day talks in Seoul, the two sides went over issues raised during the first round of talks in Washington on January fifth. 

The ministry said that the South Korean negotiators stressed the talks should be mutually beneficial under the principle of balance of interests, explaining Seoul's positions regarding the investor-state dispute settlement(ISDS) clause and trade remedies.

The two sides reportedly exchanged their stances on market access and tariffs as well.

They agreed to hold a third round of talks in the U.S. and decided to set the schedule through discussions.
