North Korea has recently started providing weather information on mobile phones and computers.

According to a report on Saturday on the North’s propaganda Web site DPRK Today, the North's weather authorities recently launched the service for users of mobile phones and computers.

​The report said that North Korean subscribers can now check current and weekly weather forecasts for major locations including temperatures and precipitations at any time anywhere using their mobile phones and computers.

​It said that agricultural weather information for each district, city and province is also provided, adding that the services are contributing to people's daily lives and economic development, and is receiving positive responses from subscribers.
