The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Friday rose 12-point-53 points, or point-49 percent, to renew it's record high for the second consecutive day and close at two-thousand-574-point-76.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also surged, gaining 14-point-52 points, or one-point-62 percent to break the 900-level mark. It closed the session at 913-point-12.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened five-point-three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-63-point-nine won.
