22 N. Koreans to Compete at PyeongChang Olympics

The International Olympic Committee(IOC) has announced that 22 North Korean athletes will compete at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics next month, with North Korea being represented at three sporting events. 

IOC President Thomas Bach released the results of a four-party meeting with Olympic and government officials from South and North Korean in Lausanne, Switzerland on Saturday.

Bach said that the North's Olympic squad will comprise of 22 athletes and 24 officials. 

The IOC hosted the meeting to discuss details of the North’s Olympic participation at the IOC headquarters.
