KOSDAQ Breaks 890 Level for First Time in Almost 16 Years

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Monday rose seven-point-31 points, or point-29 percent, closing the day at two-thousand-503-point-73.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ surged yet again, gaining 18-point-56 points, or two-point-13 percent. It closed the day at 891-point-61, the first time it has broken the 890 mark in almost 16 years.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-one won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-62-point-seven won.
